Le sel de Maldon a acquis au fil des ans une réputation mondiale de part ses qualités inégalées. Il s’agit d’une fleur de sel de forme pyramidale au goût salé prononcé malgré une surprenante légèreté. C’est l’un des seuls sels qui ne nécessite pas de moulin car il s’émiette entre les doigts et craque très facilement entre les dents. Son goût prononcé affirmé permet d’en mettre moins.
