PRÉSENTATION
Considéré en Inde comme un élixir de vie en raison de ses bienfaits pour la santé, cette variété de basilic est « la plus sacrée des plantes sur terre » dans certaines provinces. Son arôme plus épicé que le basilic classique s’associe à merveille avec du fromage frais, des papillotes de poisson ou des marinades pour viandes blanches. Il est également consommé par les Tulsi en infusion pour calmer les crampes intestinales.
